Terms of Service

1. The service

EarningTab is a browser extension that displays one sponsor line on your new tab page and during idle browsing sessions. You earn 70% of the ad revenue generated from validated impressions. EarningTab retains 30% as a platform fee.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use EarningTab and receive payouts. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Validated impressions

An impression is counted and credited to your account only when:

• Your browser window is focused (not minimized or in background)
• The sponsor line is visible on screen for at least 5 seconds
• The tab has been idle for 60+ seconds (for idle impressions) or is a new tab
• No VPN abuse, bot traffic, or artificial inflation is detected

To keep earnings reflective of genuine usage, a minimum of 3 minutes must pass between any two validated impressions, and impressions are capped at 100 per day per device. EarningTab reserves the right to invalidate impressions that appear fraudulent or artificially generated.

4. Earnings and payouts

Earnings are calculated based on the CPM rate paid by advertisers for validated impressions. Rates vary based on advertiser demand and are not guaranteed.

• Minimum payout threshold: $10.00 USD
• Payout methods: PayPal, Wise, or crypto wallet (USDC)
• Payouts are processed within 14 business days of request
• Earnings are shown in USD and are estimates until payout

5. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to generate fake impressions
• Open tabs or trigger idle states artificially to inflate earnings
• Create multiple accounts to receive duplicate payouts
• Modify the extension code to bypass impression validation
• Reverse-engineer or redistribute the extension

Violation of these terms may result in account suspension, earnings forfeiture, and permanent ban from the platform.

6. Referral program

Users may earn a 10% bonus on earnings generated by referred users. This bonus comes from EarningTab's 30% platform cut, not from the referred user's share. Abuse of the referral system (self-referrals, fake accounts) will result in forfeiture of referral bonuses.

7. Extension permissions

The extension requests the following Chrome permissions:

• idle — to detect when you're away from your computer
• tabs — to detect new tab events
• storage — to save your settings and earnings locally
• activeTab — to show the idle sponsor bar on the current tab

These permissions are the minimum required. The extension does not read page content, URLs, or browsing history.

8. Limitation of liability

EarningTab is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for lost earnings due to technical issues, advertiser payment delays, or service interruptions. Our total liability is limited to the amount of unpaid earnings in your account.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
